i have a 1998 ford mustang v6 ive been trying this for the past 2 days and cant seem to figure it out (im also not the smartest person) but i keep reading connect it to your rear deck speakers but then the directions it came with are really confusing and show it connecting to the back of the radio i need really specific details in how to do this can someone help me please.....also if you know how to connect a remote wire from the amp to a fuse or fuse box which ever one???

  1. splice in a wire from ur rear speaker wires to the output converter as 4 ur remote wire run it from ur radio fuse in ur cars fuse box good luck


  2. It doesn&#039;t matter, it just needs to tap into the speaker outputs at some points, at the speaker or up at the radio. The remote wire needs to go to the fuse box, to a circuit that has power only when key is on, or in acc. the radio circuit is always a good bet, you would need to tap into that, with a fuse tap (preferably) and that wire should be fused at 1 amp, then run to the amp.

  3. amp remote wire is normally blue, it should be connected to the back of your stereo, you may be able to connect it to a fuse that has power when your key is in the accessory and run position
