  1. A huge extent.

  2. with regards to Nicholas II it was a case of he wasn't actually born to be tsar he actually had an older brother who died in infancy. his father was an even bigger tyrant to his kids than prince Albert of Saxe-coburg-gotha was to Edward VII and Edward VII was to George V and in fact George V was the worst of the bunch his son Bertie as he was known to his family to us George VI was bullied that much that he was forced to write with his right hand despite being naturally left handed which in turn caused him to be very timid and shy and it was partly this that caused him to develop a stammer which he was helped with by his loving wife Elizabeth bowes Lyon (the queen mother) and it was basically due to this that Nicholas II was brought down that and the fact that his only son was a hemophiliac not that the tsar or any of his family ever admited to this whilest they were alive yet the russian people actually new that there was something wrong with the young tsaravich and it was this and the fact that his wife the empress alexandra grandaughter of queen victoria basically wore the trousers. as for louis XVI i believe iot was prodomently a case of he got to big for his boots as it were and there was a chap in the royal court who was a revalotionary who was dismissed which was a rather silly and major mistake to make which is why the battles and wars that were thought actually happened and lost by the monachists basically like the english civil war in the mid 1600's which in turn caused the execution of charles I in 1649 but unlike us our monarcy was reinstated after 11 years and i do believe that there were attempts to bring back the french royal family but never really came to much.

also both cultures actually forbade females succeding to the throne (as was the case in the kingdom of hanover which is were queen victorias line came from so when she came to the throne in 1837 it was one of her uncles who became king of hanover) so this could also be a contributing factor in what happened.

  3. look up wikipedia.
