a little cushiony table top tray thing that sits on her lap so she can eat on/play on

  1. sounds like you got most things covered.

try getting a couple of new small toys and give them to her if she is really fractious.

try to get most of the trip done while she sleeps.

make sure you have clean clothes, wipes and diapers where you can get to them. she will be eating and drinking from boredom!

those plastic seats get really sweaty too.

plenty of rest stops when she's awake, for moving around and fresh diaper.

put whichever parent is not driving in the back with her, to pass dropped toys, dropped drinks...

play guess the colour of the next car, or count red cars, or count lorries depending on her ability.

  2. wow not an easy trip

you may want to sit in back with here from time to time to read to her or tickle or snuggle

one of the way easy v tech hand helds may help

any new toys, books, stuff she did not see before...think dollar store

bubbles..blow them to her have her try to catch

    an older sibling to help?lol

    good luck

  3. Great ideas, it sounds like you are well prepared.

    I would also suggest:

    Books

    Bubbles

Any new toys that she hasn't seen yet  (stuff from the dollar store would be fine.)

    Good luck!

  4. My best toddler traveling accessory has been the portable DVD player, which you have already plan on bringing. From your list you seem to be all set to me.

  5. you can play i spy we used to play that if there or you could buy one of those leappad learning systems good luck on your trip i used to live in Montrose CO. its in the southwest corner

  6. sounds like youve got it all covered! everything i was gonna say you have it already, just make sure you have a sweater or something for her incase it gets too cold or change her into something lighter if it gets too hot. i went on a trip to georgia (from florida) and got real cold from the AC. some of her fave stuffed animals might be good too or some small toys.
