Downloading torrent I got this. l scanned the file with spy bot before opening, it found nothing. Also 2 attempts were made to access the pc (Acer 3680) browser and l thought l blocked them with Zone alarm. Then came the security warning box along with a voice message so "it`s in! I launched Spy bot scanned and highlighted it as red security warning. I clicked to erase, but stupidly had not run as administrator, and couldn`t clear it. Then l got a blank black screen with the warning box and voice over from the virus. I immediately shut down. Starting again in safe mode, after the welcome and logo, l got a black screen with the box etc. I can`t access the desktop at all. I put in the original disc, and rebooted, and all l got was a black screen, box etc. The disc was running but nothing came up! Please help me! I`m running (or was) vista basic, and for what it`s worth l haven`t clicked the "security" box that it keeps telling me to do. Anything else please ask. Thanks in advance!

  1. Some people are beyond help.

  2. switch off internet

start insafe modewithout internet, if it boots to it

    run spybot again

if it finds anything fix them

    find your download & delete

reboot in normal mode still no internet

run spybot again & fix anything that shows

rboot normal with internet & get online scans to be sure you got it all.

spybot will not catch everything comming down, but avg will.

  3. well if you press f8 on start-up you can try safe mode again from start up without needing to access windows....

you could also try an improper shut down....

if you can access your desktop imidiatly use system restore.... otherwise bring it to a desktop lab... good luck....

  4. turn computer off.

    disconnect from broadband.

    turn PC on.still off line.

in add and remove delete "torrents" and any related programs.

    turn off PC.

    turn on PC.

is PC or doe's it seem to be OK.if yes.

    reconnect to broadband.

    still seems OK.

    if yes ~download "ccleaner"(2 c's) run it .

it will remove all temp files and browser cookies and give you some memory back.

hope this helps.if not repost a question and i will help further if i can.
