  1. She should have them all within a few hours, leave her be and just check on her to make sure she is not in danger or a kitten is stuck.  Once she has stopped lactating, please get her spayed.  Read the link in my sources for more information.

  2. Just give your cat time, let her do what she needs to do, if she succesfully had 3 kittens already, she knows what she is doing. The best way to tell if there are more kittens is to palpate her tummy (that means feel it very carefully). If you feel something there (cause her stomach will feel like loose skin) then you know there are more babies.

    Congratulations.

P.S. Please get her spayed, many cats can die of pyometra or other diseases if they are not spayed.

  3. It can take several hours for all the kittens to be born. Just give the cat a quiet place and make sure she has a bowl of water and food nearby so she doesn't have to leave her new little family for very long.

She will l**k them clean and eat the afterbirth--a very important food source for the new mama. You won't have to do nearly anything and the cats will come along quite naturally. Please don't palpitate the cat's stomach to see if there are still kitties inside. That is very dangerous and could kill the kitten.

  4. Remember to count the babies.  Cats can't count and may miss some when trying to move the kittens.  To make cats friendly, you have to hold them when they are young.  If you want to wash your kittens and cats, you have to start out when they are very young.

  5. you have had good advice from all those answers, relax, find good homes for the kittens and do have her spayed.

  6. I have a cat and she gave birth to four at the same time, honestly its hard to tell how many cats will come out or when, but its not as long as a human being, For mine it took two months to give birth (maybe less), but i got her operated and she can't give birth anymore.

  7. When the kittens are 5 weeks PLEASE TAKE HER IN AND HAVE HER SPAYED.

if you can't afford it there are programs out there that will help.

DO NOT ADD TO THE CAT OVER POPULATION BY ALLOWING HER TO BREED AGAIN!

  8. Cats can take up to 24 hours to deliver  kittens, but it is usually less. Watch the mother for contractions, if she is having them, but no kitten, take her to the vet. And, please do have her spayed.
