NEED INFORMATION ABOUT GREEN CARD?

Question

If you know of a person who moved to the US four years ago, has family in the US (sisters/mother/father) and for some reason is in a hurry to get married, what does this say about their residency statice?

Do they have a green card? if so what kind? or a visa? ..what does getting married have to do with it? what are the rules on experation? Does he have to go back to his born country? Please help.

If they moved here 4 years ago and have family here, there's a good chance they're green card holders, but who knows? As for being in a hurry to marry, there are many possible reasons for that. Without some more specific information on this person, there isn't anyway to give you an answer short of recommending you take a long course in US immigration law.
