NEED MASSIVE HELP WITH PS3!!!!?

Question

My PS3 was working fine but i dont have an HD TV so i decided to take it to my cousin to watch some blu ray movies. It worked but when i took it back to my house the audio only worked. i had no image. i could hear the tone of the menu its just the image that doesnt work.

When i took it back to my cousins house it worked fine with an HDMI cable but with the normal yellow red white cables still only audio no image. We changed all the settings back to 480p and standard tv and it still doesnt work. IS MY PS3 ON THE FRITZ!!!???? IS IT BROKEN!?!?! PLEASE HELP

happened to me once. just reset the ps3 : hold start button for 1 mn

yeah you should just check you video output settings and put them back to normal output rather than hdmi

Just reset the console by holding the power button for a few seconds. It just is used to being in HD format and needs to be worked back into SD.

(hint) It may not work the first time.

Chill and try changing the wire u connect from ps3 and tv then try changing the tv and if it doesnt work then have a place check ure ps3 m8

The console is probably still trying out output in HD.

I'd suggest resetting the console (press and hold the power button for five seconds) and then trying again.

press and hold the power button in for a few seconds, it will reset the output settings

As stated above. Plug the PS3 back in to your tv. hold the power button down for about 5 seconds. The PS3 will start beeping and reset itself to your tv.
