I'm throwing my 13th birthday party in 2 day's. I've been so busy I haven't had anytime to plan. I need some quick, good party idea's for about a dozen 13 and 14 year olds. It's a boy-girl party, but none of that spin th bottle stuff. I'm trying to have all my girly girl friends meet my guy friends from my baseball team. The problem is I'm worried, cause some of them are extremly boy crazy and will take any excuse to get in a closet with my best guy budds. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

  1. hire a dj off of cregslist.com they go cheap. have rootbeer floats and pizza icecream bar and cake. lock all of your closets and bed rooms just in case. ask everybody to bring a change of clothing and a baithing suit and have a water ballon fight get a kiddie pool and have a sprinleler. then do and egg on the spoon race.

  2. What happenned to playing games? You can set up several different game tables like Dominoes here, Monopoly there.....You should have several different things going on so that no one gets bored. Have a movie playing in one room, video games set up in another. Have fun

  3. Why not go outside and play a little baseball? Get the guys to show the girls how to throw and catch and things. Or you could set up a something like one of those carnival games, where you have to knock something off of a ledge by throwing a ball. They could be on mixed teams and see which team does best.

  4. Don't worry - Be happy

Yes, some of this could happen at your party but let everyone know ahead of time that it is off limits and they could be asked to leave if they don't respect your family home.

Have a fun las vegas night with tables gambling with poker chips (free of course).  Have a prize for the one that ends up with the most chips.

Have Fun & Happy B-day (am I too late?)

    Hotttttttttt  Dogggggggg

  5. wel...13 is the age of making out with boys! ahhhhh....the good ole days!

ugh...anyways- a great thing is to play some games to get people loosened up a bit and have some fun. a good one is a frozen tshirt contest- get some large plain t-shirts and dunk in water untill completly wet then stick one each in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer till completly frozen (overnight would be best!). then pair people up into teams (say boy/girl teams of two - pick names from two seperate cups one boys names and the other one all the girls names) have enough shirts one for each pair, then they have to try to unthaw the shirt the fastest and put it on- would be funny to make them both fit into the shirt- make sure to have a close eye on them to determin the winners adn have your camera ready for funny pictures! have some cool prizes for the winners of all your games like maybe a $5 gift card or whatever.

another fun game is "A Little Water Over Here" have one or more kiddie pools FULL of water. split people up into teams of two or three. one person stands in the pool with a bucket (sand buckets work fine- found them at the dollar store) and another person stands about 6-7 feet away with another bucket (have a line marking the spot that they can't go over)- the person in the pool fills up their bucket with water and tosses it to the other person who will try to catch as much water in their bucket as they can- then you can have them toss their water to another person on their team standing another 6 feet away then they run to dump all the water into a plastic tub off to the side another 10 feet or so away (one tub per team). set a time limit or just wait untill all the water is gone out of the pool (most of it won't make it into the buckets! then see who got the most water into their tub and thats the winner. so the water goes pretty fast- we played it with two people standing in one pool and tossing it to only one person per team but our group was only six people so we just filled the pool back up and rotated players) you can do teams of two if you want then have a championship round or something- have prizes for the winners to- its a really fun game and you can end up pretty wet! great for hot summer days!

then maybe play some volleyball or maybe a fun game of kickball or something (make sure though to have friends wear the right shoes and stuff if doing kickball)

listen to good music, have snacks and drinks.

heres a site with more game ideas
