  1. http://www.kicker.uk.com/pdf/enclosures/...  all you need to know

  2. one of unique manufacturers which gives parameters needed. But not much people understand them well.

They all should work in sealed box for its higher Qes to make flat bass characteristics. When you place them in the vented box, you can do only two things

1)to make it play flat, natural bass, you must put it in big box, so you loose all the trunk place. For the speaker, it means higher linear excursion and lower power handling.

    2) do it like manufacturer says, it wil play strong and poping booom sounds, but it has nothing to do with exact nice sound.

I mean that Manufacturer lets their customer to use the speakers in bad ways and settings, because in propertly constructed box, it will not output so high performance > it does mean it is a bit weak and overpriced. On the other hand, manufacturer is more serious than others are.

  3. At Kicker.com it lists the Min sealed at .88ft, with Max sealed being at: 2.0 ft per sub. Min ported: 1.75, while max ported is 3.0ft. per sub.
