NEW YORK GAP YEAR (help urgently needed!)?

Question

Im 18 and currently undertaking a gap year with two friends (Jess isn't coming anymore). Were looking to go to America, preferably New York, possibly Florida (Even though Lara doesn't want to go there) for approximately 2 to 3 months.

Q1) How hard (if even possible) would it be for us (me, lara, mike) to secure employment during our travels?

Q2) How much (if even possible) would it cost for accommodation for 3 people (btw me and lara are willing to share a bed) and how would we go about finding it?

Q3) Roughly how much would each of us need to save to make our dream come true?

Btw...please don't supply us with any information regarding camp America or any such programs, we are straight.

you will need tons and tons of money to afford doing that, unless you can gain funding for your trip somehow... camp america may be the only option, however straight you may be!

Ok, What kind of stupid person would do that? Especially when you should go to school like everyone else and try to get good grades even though YOU probably won't.
