NEW YORK to Parris island?

i live in western new york will i have to take plane down there?

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess that you're joining The Marines.  Whatever way they take you is how you'll get down there.  I imagine it will be a plane.

I'm from western ny as well. my brother joined 2 yrs ago and my second brother is a dep waiting to go to basic in january. when my oldest brother left for basic the recruiter came to our house to pick him up. to him to the base where he waited. then they flew out the next day. he arrived in parris island. was put on a bus that took him to the island. I imagine your case will be quite similar.

Well if your joining the Marines they are gonna fly a TI to your house and he is gonna make you run to Paris island lol.

Plane. You will be met at the airport by your Drill Instructor and taken to base on a military bus.
