NFL: Denver Broncos vs. Cincinnati Bengals – 3rd quarter and 4th quarter
The enticing matchup between the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals concluded to be equal. Denver scored 14 while Cincinnati scored 0 in the 1st quarter. Cincinnati made a strong comeback in the 2nd quarter scoring 17 points while the Bronco’s only managed to score 3 points.
Highlights of 3rd Quarter
Matt Prater kicked off to the Cin7 Jordan Ship, who returned for 13 yards to Cin20, tackled by Kyle McCarthy. Next run was a long one as J.T O’Sullivan passed to Bernard Scott for 46 yards to the Den39 followed by another amazing pass by O’Sullivan to the middle to Jerome Simpson for 21-yards to the Den18 until he was put to the ground by Perrish Cox and David Bruton.
The Bengals tried their best to make a touchdown with short passes but failed. Hence, Dave Rayner once again attempted a 27-yard field goal and made it successfully.
3rd quarter was extremely slow for both the teams as the Broncos failed to score a point. The quarter ended by a pass to the middle to Deniel Coat by J.T for 16 yards to the Den 27 who was tackled by David Bruton.
Denver scored nil and Cincinnati with only 6 points.
Highlights of 4rd Quarter
The final round is when the game really took off for both the teams. With James Johnson rushing towards the left side of the field for only 1 yard to the Den26 after being forced to the ground by Jammie Kirklew and Chris Backer. Small pass strategy by the Cincinnati’s took them to their first touchdown made by James Johnson by only 1 yard, with an extra point scored by Dave Rayner.
Dave kicked off to the Den0 Cassius Vaughn returning for 28 yards to Den 26. Bruce Hall of the Broncos rushed to the left losing a yard to Den25 after being tackled by Vincent Rey. After three more attempts to cross the 40-yard line, Broncos failed to do so.
The ball was once again under Bengals possession. Jordan Palmer started with a pass to the right to Darius Hills for 5 yards to the Den34, tackled by Alphonso Smith. After repeated tries by the Bengals to steer past Broncos defence, they were unable to get through. They decided to kick for a field goal. Dave Rayner once again made a good attempt and finished a 26-yard field goal.
Bronco’s much talked about, Tim Tebow, started with an incomplete pass to the left, however, made two thriving passes after that with a total of 27 yards.  Although, Bronco’s game died once again, they could not pass the 50-yard line due to Bengals remarkable defensive tactics.
Bengals with the possession started with running back Cedric Peerman rushing to the right for 7 yards to the Den37, who was ultimately tackled by Cassius Vaughn and Kyle McCarthy. Cedric made another 4 and 9 yards after being tackled by Kyle once again. Darius Hill started off with a false 5 yard run. Cincinnati finished off with an incomplete pass by Jordan Palmer, which was intended for Chase Coffman.
However, the game finished off with an amazing run by the Denver Broncos as Tim Tebow made a 17-yard pass and another for 33 yards to Britt Davis where he was tackled by Cin7 Kyries Heber. With just one incomplete pass Tim ended the game in a miraculous fashion rushing towards the middle for 7 yards making the touchdown.
The game ended with Denver Broncos scoring a total of 24 points and Cincinnati Bengals with 33 points.
