We have seen games in Mexico City, Japan, and England. Where would you add 4 more teams to the NFL.

My add-ins are: Mexico City, Toronto, Hawaii, and Alaska (The Nome Dome)

  1. oklahoma city

    charlotte

los angeles(because the nfl doesnt know when to give up

detroit......oh wait they kinda have an nfl team already so i'll go with somewhere in alabama

  2. Not Los Angeles, every franchise that has gone there has ended up a failure and relocated.

I would add franchises in: Toronto, San Antonio, Sioux Falls and possibly Hawaii (but would be problem with distance and time zones)

  3. I dont think any cites in other country's would get a team due to the length of travel and cost. With the exception of Toronto getting a team. The real reason that we have seen games played in other country's is to increase the size of the fan base for the NFL. Now, to answer your question these would be likely choices inside North America.

    Salt Lake City

    Tucson

    Oklahoma City

    Toronto

  4. Phoenix already has the Cardinals, and LA will never get (or at least won't support) a team.

    Alaska? hahahahahha

  5. Boston, Las Vegas, LA, and Kentucky.

  6. Los Angeles, Virginia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City

  7. San Antonio- they have a strong sports following, major city, lots of people and Texans love Football.

Portland- Small market with good following.

OK city- my only reservation is that it is close to Dallas but none the less also close to OU- a team would do good here( see San Antone).

I like Vegas as well. Vegas has good weather, a lot of people with no sports team. The people from LA would come there. They would have to get the Thugs under control (unlike they did during the NBA all star game) but Vegas has such a great tourist economy there is no doubt that a team would do good there.

    Good question.

BTW- I think more games should be played in other countries. It is kind of cool

  8. Toronto

    san Antonio

    las vegas

    LA

  9. Man these people answering this really don't know NFL city locations. Phoenix has the Cardinals already and Charlotte has the Panthers, don't think a city can handle two NFL franchises. FYI.. Toronto basically already has a team too, they are called the Buffalo Bills. They will be relocating to Toronto within 5 seasons.

    My four would be:

Louisville, KY - Huge football following, smaller market liek Greenbay but would sustain an NFL franchise.

Oklahoma City - It the NBA is moving there the NFL will probably be next. Again, large football following and a large enough media market to support a team and they already have hosted an NFL team for one season, the Saints.

Orlando, FL - Huge media market, tons of fans, and they already have a 70,000 seat stadium that is only used once a year basically. I say Jacksonville just relocates to Orlando since Jacksonville is a small market with not much fan support.

Alabama - The core of the southern football tradition. Don't know what city but as a "state" team they would have tons of support, not to mentioned the Falcons who are in the state next door won't be doing anything for a while.

Las Vegas would be a good choice too. However, I don't think the NFL is ready to move into oversea's markets just yet and you will never see a team in Hawaii or Alaska because they are just too small. The NFL considers the media market for television exposure when choosing locations which translates into dollars for the NFL so they would never chose a small market that only a few people will ever see the team play.
