NFL Pre-Season kicks off, expectations for Regular Season
The NFL pre-season began with an awesome game that took place on Sunday as the Cincinnati Bengals went up against the Dallas Cowboys in the Hall of Fame Game. The game saw the Cincinnati Bengals manage to come out on top with the score of 16-7 and start their campaign on a winning note.
According to some experts, the pre-season is meaningless and has no significance but according to some it is helpful as it helps gain confidence heading into the regular season. Though there is a risk of players getting injured, the new players get a chance to familiarise themselves with different types of plays in the NFL. Keeping this in mind we will be discussing some things related to this year’s pre-season and upcoming regular season.
There is no team in any sport that likes its players getting injured and that too before the regular season. Denver Broncos are one team that has a long list of injuries from last season. Darrelle with his abilities and talent has been able to establish his position as one of those players who shuts down every player in his path. The contract issue, however, needs to be resolved as soon as possible if the Jets intend to make it to the Super Bowl this season.
