NHL Announcers "Quality?"?

Question

Does anyone else thing the announcers for the hockey games were retarded? That Sykora call was BS and they're bitching about the goalie interference calls. The Wings put the clamps on the Pens every time they pass the neutral zone and they don't say a word about that. I think they already decided before the series that the Red WIngs would win, just listen to how they talk. But maybe its just me, (my dad), (my friends), (and everyone at my church).

Doc Emerick is amazing. He is the play-by-play guy. Everybody hates all the announcers but its very difficult not to like Doc... he is the by far the best play-by-play announcer

Yeah I think it is just you. The call on Zetterberg was iffy, the call on Cleary was terrible. The Pens are getting outplayed without a doubt. Lucky for the Pens, the chances that they do get are good ones. Sykora clearly had the stick around the Wings players midsection, and if it holds him up at all or impedes his progress it's a hook. It was right in front of the ref, and it was a good call.

Hooking a guy who keeps his legs churning and doesn't dive is b.s.?

My advice? Give up religion. It clouds your judgement. The announcers correctly, finally, said something in the Red Wings favor about the bad goalie interference calls.

The Wings are hitting the guy with the puck. I know that's not in the Bible, but it IS in the NHL rule book as legal.

The Sykora call was to make up for the other calls, two for one not a bad deal.
