NHL Free Agency! Off Season?

Question

I have heard lately that the rangers are interested in the following players:

jagr, avery, rozsival, straka, to return

but also they want to sign marian hossa, brooks orpik, brian cambell

or trade for gaborik or kovulchuk

Brooks Orpik is a must stay for The Pittsburgh Penguins,

as for the rest I have no idea.

i thnink campbell might stay in San Jose. Sanjose is suppossedly sending Marleau to the Jackets to free up cap room. we'll see though.

brian campbell might stay with the sharks but it depends on how much they want to pay him & i've heard the patrick marleau going to columbus thing 2 but its not for sure yet.

Evidently, they can not sign and trade all these guys due to the salary cap.  I think they might sign one of those guys listed at the most unless they can't re-sign some of their players.  The more guys they can't re-sign, the more players they're going to want to sign.  I could see them going for an impact winger, like Gaborik, Kovalchuk or Hossa though.

They can't get them all, remember the salary cap.  Campbell wants 8 million, so start doing the math.
