Question:

NHL: Jose Theodore, who gets him?

Theo is ready to try the market out and is leaving Colorado....so where does he go?

Bonus: What is your team & would you want him(even as a backup)

Apparently following the footsteps of Patrick Roy was enough to even make Mr. Propeca lose some hair.

  1. Tough to tell...

Bonus: Boston, I'd love him, but I'd rather get a goal scorer for now, I want Hossa. So if they want to get Hossa there won't be enough Cap Room.

  2. Conklin wont be with the Penguins next year, but they will not be looking for any new goaltenders.

Conklin is too good to be a back up and will be looking for too much money.

  3. Jose will ask for and get top $$ as a starting goalie. There is no other good FA this summer. So, he will get lucky this year.

He will definitely not be a backup. With Salary Cap era, no team can afford a $4 mil backup.

  4. The Toronto Maple Leafs or maybe even back to the Canadiens, you never know.

The Pittsburgh Penguins, we have Conklin already, so no.

  5. I say Tampa gets him... they seem like they're in the mood to overpay for a decent-but-inconsistent goalie.

I'm a Rangers fan... I wouldn't want him.  Lundqvist is very capable in net, and Valiquette has shown to be a decent backup and I see him being resigned.  Let's just hope Lundqvist doesn't get injured.

  6. The person who gives him the most money I predict gets him.

My team is the Kings ...I dont want himeven as a backup too much money for a journey men. (whatever he gets is too much money). He plays when he feels like it. Not good.

I will stick with Ersberg and Brenier.

  7. I think he will go to Ottawa and he would bet better than our current #1 Goalie

  8. id love to have him on the Wings. hes a good goalie. ill say either TB or Ottawa gets him

  9. Hi,  Ottawa is a good fit for Jose...  His girlfriend if she's still with him after the family gambling scandal at The Montreal Casino is the dauighter of a very wealthy Montreal family, and  I'm sure she'd like to return  back East.

But Ottawa is a natural place for him... Brian Murray should make the "pitch" for him REAL SOON.

  10. Maybe Ottawa or LA

I would at a cheap price which won't happen

  11. He could be good for the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa, NY islanders, NY ranger, Pittsburg and I have lots more. Lots of ppl will love to get him

  12. Remember folks, he seems to play his best in a contract year. SO, anyone signing him would be better off giving him a 1 yr deal, so he can play for the right to earn a raise the next summer.

Truthfully, I believe he will end up back in COL.

  13. Ottawa

  14. Not sure how much interest there will be.  He needs 1 yr contracts only as he only seems to play well in the last year of a contract.

Habs fan here and we don't want him back.

I think he will test the market and end up back in Colorado on a 1 or 2 year contract at 3M per.

  15. I am a Wings fan but don't want him i think however he would be better back on the Habs because he seemed to have a better record with them than with Colorado if he don't go to the habs i say Toronto should pick him up.
