During the past season, Steven Stamkos not only showed great deal of talent coupled with skill but also improved a great deal on his scoring abilities.
This young and upcoming star finished fifth in the player standings last season mounting a total of 95 points. He not only secured points but also scored 51 goals. That is phenomenal for this young superstar, as this tied him for the most goals scored and that too with Sidney Crosby during the 2009-10 NHL season.
The past season was the young superstar’s second season at NHL and he impressed a lot of people, not only because of the level of talent he has but also on improving points from last season, that is of 49 points.
He not only dominated but put up an exhibition performance when he entered the NHL by a draft and was part of the Tampa Bay Lightening team. The pick that the team was arguably the best that they could have come up with, as he displayed his talent by dominating the OHL and a player of his calibre, is for sure to dominate the NHL too.
The young and very talented Stamkos will surely be one of the key figures in the coming years.
