NHL question: Are you happy with your teams signings/losses?

Me being a Sens fan, I am not. All we did was get Ruutuu and re-sign Donovan. We lost both of our late in the season pick ups (Commodore, Stillman) we lost a very good +/- defensemen (Redden), and our rugged tough guy McGrattan.

QUESTION: Are you happy with your teams free agency progress? Please tell me which team you support!

  2. We lost brian rolston and probablly gonna loose pavol demitra!

    Brian rolston has been my hero since i was a little tot...i started hockey because of him! i wear #12 parcially because of him! I was pumped when i found out we had him on our team...then the lock out happened! and now he is GONE!!!

    I'm gonna miss that guy so much!

  3. I'm thrilled with resigning Pandolfo, and acquiring Rolston and Holik.  Rolston and Holik are former Devils, so they know the system.  They'll fit right in, and help the younger guys out.  Except Holik was the original Scott Gomez - a traitor who went to the Rangers for money.  Grr..

    I just hope the Devils resign Brylin.  He's very underrated, and he's been with the team all his career and won all 3 Cups with the Devils.

    I loved the signing of Mark Striet, will help the power play tremendously.

    However, signing Doug Weight in the middle of a youth movement made absolutely no sense. Jason Williams is still out there, Give him a shot.

  5. I am pissed that Streit left, but Laraque is a better overall player than people realise, and we need a good fighter cuz Begin can't do it all himself.

    Very happy that we got Tanguay, took long enough and I think he's gonna be a big help offencively.

    Denis will be nice insurance if anything happen to Price or Halak - ok he's struggled the last few years, but you remember how well he did in Colorado and Columbus eh?

  6. Im not happy with loosing Ruutu or Conklin but im happy we got Satan.

  7. We locked in kostitsyn and picked up laroque,  i am happy so far,   too bad they didn't ink someone like cujo,  a solid teacher for price would be nice,

  8. there still isn't a big time, clutch goal scorer in Boson, so no... absoultely not...

    ... this is an on going thing, remember when they got rid of Thornton and kept Hal Gill.  

    Hal Gill is the worst hockey player ever and Thornton is one of the best, he was the best then.

  9. Pens fan, and no. Losing Malone, Ruutu, Conklin, Roberts and Laraque is a little disappointing. We signed Eaton, an overrated and injury prone defense men. We signed Godard, an unexperienced fighter, been in the league since 1999 and only played 200 games. Satan, in my book, someone thats career is done. Fedotenko, and overrated winger. Then next years FA is going to be even worse. You'll have a lot more: Kennedy, Talbot, Gill, Sydor, Scuderi, Sykora,  Fedotenko, Satan and Golikoski. We've got too many defensive players, and now we're lacking in depth. So nope, I'm not happy at all.

  10. im a real big habs fan, and im happy right now....we signed georges laraques(a real big fighter) which we need, and we got a young goaltender(marc denis)..........and most of all we got a great scorer ALEX TANGAY

  12. Im happy with my teams progress. At first I was a bit "iffy". But I think its all good, I am pretty pumped. No more identity crisis for the Flames!

Sutter has a plan, and I think I get it, he's bringing in guys who are coming to play - and play hard. Sure, the roster might need a few tweaks here and there, but I think the team next season will bring it every game, every night.

    It makes really proud to be a flames fan when I see players that excited about playing here. "

  13. Living in Pittsburgh:  Nice to see Satan play for us.  Great sniper ability.  Fedotenko has great playmaking ability as well as a solid backchecker.  Will be an excellent 3rd liner to help build scoring in lower depth.  If Dupuis falls through on line one, he'd be an excellent swap.
