NHS waiting list for braces?

How long have you been/were you on the NHS waiting list to get your braces?

I live in the South West of England - does anyone know the waiting time for braces in this area?

err my dentist referred me to an orthodontist and they got back to us with an appointment within a month or two

sooooo it wasnt that bad,,

but not because of all the private stuff its probably longer,

i live aroound there too

hopefully getting mine off soon :)
