NIACiN AND ADDERALL QUESTION?

Hi I've been on adderall for over a year to treat ADHD but now my hair won't grow!! Will taking niacin help my hair growth? and does anyone know how these two drugs interfear? Also, will niacin affect my metabolism?

  1. Do not take niacin.  Just reduce the dosage of adderall.  You may be suffering the bad side effects of it.  Often too many drugs will hurt your thyroid and metabolism.  Avoid that by not taking more stuff.  My sister had a h**l of a problem with her thyroid because of dieting.


  2. Adderall should not affect your hair growth. Neither does niacin.

    Scalp hair only grows about 1/2 inch per month, and if you have dry hair, it can break off that fast.

    What is your diet like?  What is your hair care system like?
