NITRO help?

so can anyone help me out i have a acme cyclone nitro car ok and i was wondering if i put the right tyres on i could make it drift and can i put HPI bodyshells on it like supras and skylines and if i can can i put a 190mm and 200mm shell on it or just 1 size?

  1. Nitro cars use 200mm shells.

    Tyre choice would be pvc piping or some manufacturers drift tyres (HPI, Yokomo etc). Tune the engine to run richer, more so if you're using pvc pipe.

    That particular chassis looks like it will be too rear biased. You will not be able to successfully drift unless you find a way to make it more mid-engined. That's the whole reason why HPI produced the drift-conversion for the RS4 range. If you're only interesting in RC drifting, use an electric. They use 190mm shells.


  2. you can put ether 190mm or 200mm body on your car,just you might need to off-set your wheels by 3-6 millimeters with the 200mm body. also,hpi has a great set of drifting tires rubber all the way to plastic PVC. iv tried them all and they work great. you just have to choose the best tire for your driving style. if you like high speed drifting you should go for a rubber drift tire. if your in to a more slow graceful drift choose the plastic PVC tire they offer.
