NJ Devils 2008-09?

I know you'll agree with me when i say that the Devils are in some serious need of some good trades this year...any suggestions?

Marty's getting too old to carry them throughout the entire season.

Get at least one big forward, and strengthen the entire defense by getting rid of people like Brookbank and getting a few solid, but not necessarily superstar defensemen, to help Brodeur out.

After Gomez left, our offense went down the toilet.  After Rafalski left, our defense went down the toilet.  In one season our best forward and d-man left.  So it sucks.  Basically, sign a really good forward (not like Zubrus who we got to replace Gomez...) and get someone to replace Rafalski (and get rid of Brookbank I hate him so much.  His lousy plays and turnovers always lead to goals by the other team).

They resigned Brookbank a few weeks ago.  Hopefully they demote him to the AHL.

they are in need of rebuilding..revamp the team..and it does take time so be patient

first off... there was a question in volved about trades NOT what we need ON the team.. so for a player coming to the Devils..

someone I know mentioned we should get Hossa.

All I know is I don't want Oduya on the team & willing to give up was it Rachunek

Oh well as long as we don't get rid of Clarkson Oh yeah.. I know who I want gone.. who was it that Cam was traded for!?!?

The Devils rely too much on Brodeur.  I think they should have stronger offense, rather than defense because Brodeur is an excellent player in net.
