Question:

NJ Emissions Inspection?

How would I go about getting my NJ-licensed car's emissions retested if I'm out of state and have no way of bringing the car back to NJ? I had the emissions tested in NJ a while ago, and now the inspection is expiring. I'm 2100 miles away though, so no way to bring the car back to NJ. Thanks.

  1. You can't.  You have to get insurance, plates, and inspection in the state you're now living.  You'll need to switch your driver's license, too.
