NJ to CA drive, how much do i pay in toll ????

hey guys , i need to find out how much will i pay in toll if iam driving from NJ zip code 07307 to CA zip code92064 , if not avoiding any toll roads coming along the way ?i am budgeting my trip and i need to find this out ? how do calculate this?

Don't worry about the tolls.  I doubt you'll hit any.  Maybe 1 or 2 if you're unlucky.

But of course, you'll be spending HUNDREDS on gas.  I suggest you just fly.  It will  be cheaper.

I have driven cross country from NYC to California and there were not that many toll roads on the Way. Depending which rout you take you will have to pay toll in NJ TPK. PA TPK and one in Idiana. Maximum Toll to budget for $40.

I once drove from NYC to Chicago (about 1/3 way to Cali).  There was only about 4 tolls (one from NY /NJ) and it didn't even mount to $25.

It was the gasoline that was the majority of the cost.  So just calculate that (gas).

It depends on how many toll roads and bridges you take.

In theory, you could do it without taking toll roads.
