I know that mostly the Manager of the year awards are about results so if the Cards don't get in the playoffs, I don't think La Russa will get the title, but he should: the cards have no business being in the playoff race and here they are because of good managing. It will probably be Lou Piniella

If the Marlins stay competitive the remainder of the season, that it will be Freddie Gonzalez.

If not, it could be Manuel.  It also could be Lou Piniella if the Cubs win close to 105 games.

lol, pinella is a moron.  It has to be LaRussa, taking a team with half the talent of his 2006 world series team, adding 19 injured players, plenty being very important.  Still, with all this they are still in the race for postseason play.

Either if the 3 managers from the top 3 in the NL Central (Cubs, Brewers, Cardinals obviously) could win it in my opinion. But seeing as the Cubs are in first by 6 games I'm going with Lou Piniella.
