NO 5.1 sound on yahoo.music videos and no full screen.for 2 weeks it sucks?

Question

got 5.1 sound in motherboard chip and 5.1 speaer systems . Got up to date frast player.all worked before new yahoo.music player and web page.

Yahoo! uses flash for the music videos.  The following article tells you that flash at best has only stereo:

However, if you have the bucks, you should look into an audio card that converts stereo into Dolby Digital 5.1.  Some of the newer motherboards also contain chips to do that.  Alternatively, some receivers and speaker systems can take your computer audio output and convert a stereo signal to simulated 5.1 sound.  As to the full screen issue, Yahoo! is taking their own sweet time to fix.

Now I see why you say it sucks.  I agree.

I would bring up the audio issue with Yahoo and see if they can explain why the audio changed.
