I have read all of the responses to other people's questions. I have been pouring gallons and gallons of hot water down the toilet and I cant untwist a wire hanger and I have no tools, no car, no plunger and no money for a plumber. I need help. Nothing is working. Can someone please help me?

  1. you know they sell plungers at the dollar stoe for a dollar. or try asking a neighbor. smile nice

  2. You could try pouring a gallon of bleach in there and letting it sit overnight to disolve the blockage.

  3. Try putting a hose pipe down there and turning it on, it's worked for me in the past. The pressure from the hose can clear the blockage. Can't think of anything else for you to try if you haven't even got a plunger.

Gotta be worth a go if you haven't got the money for a plumber.

  4. If you have a garden hose, or a friendly neighbour who has, cut a piece off about two feet long and just keep prodding up  the u bend until the blockage breaks up. Leaving overnight with a full bottle of bleach poured into the toilet may help soften up impacted toilet tissue before hand.

  5. i find it best to use an old mop but wrap it in a black plastic bin bag the air int the bag helps and acts like a plunger

  6. if you have been pouring gallons of water into the toilet, its either flushing, or its overflowing!! Which one????

  7. Is there a neighbor you can ask for help or to use a plunger?  You're going to make a mess if you try some of these answers and your toilet will still be stopped up.

  8. Try asking a neighbour if they have any tools or ask if they can give you a hand. Tell em there's a coffee in it for them, worth a try and the best way if you got no money.

  9. Some problem, well lets think about this logically.  You need to create a vacuum of some sort to pull/shove the blockage till it moves.

If you have a string mop you can use this in a similar fashion to a plunger, simple put the mop head in the toilet and adgitate the mop up & down quite violently, this should do the trick.

Or if you have a fairly softish jug about the same size as the bottom of the toilet you can place the jug open end down and do the same thing as above, this might cause the blockage to move.

Or if you can find some older residents (oap) in your area they will more than likely have a plunger that they may lend you.

    Hope this helps.

  10. go outside undo the cover plate on the down pipe and attack it from there, there could be a toilet roll stuck in the down pipe, that's if you have children, it's quite a common occurence, don't look so flushed every thing will be o.k.
