NO PROGRAMS OPEN but Internet Explorer.?

Every program I click , that HOURGLASS comes up and disappears.

Nothing seems to work. I have a windows XP. system restore wont open, i cant open anything through "RUN", nothing but Intenret Explorer opens!

Is there any fix for this? Its an Explorer.exe problem I believe, probably a trojan. Has any1 ever went through this??? please help.

  2. alt+ctrl+del  and then go to processes and end the explorer process. after go to file>new task> browse. right click a folder and click explore. and then try and run other programs
