NO RESPONSE FROM YAMAHA YST-SW305/205. I HAVE A MARANTZ SR-97 & DP870 WITH THE SUB CONNECTED

I HAVE A MARANTZ SR-97 & DP870 WITH THE SUB CONNECTED THRU THE FRONT SPEAKER CHANNELS. THERE IS NO SUB RESPONSE. I ALSO TRIED TO RUN DIRECTLY FROM SUB OUT ON AMP, NO RESPONSE. WHEN RUNNING THE TEST TONE THRU THE AMP ALL SPEAKERS EXCEPT THE SUB RESPOND... CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?
