while Palin was giving her speech tonight.....trying to be MIZ VP, her youngest daughter was slicking her little baby brother's hair with her spit. She kept l*****g her whole hand and rubbing it across the baby's head. Then she started picking at the baby's eyes. I don't know if she was trying to pick crust off the baby's eyes or if she was playing with his eyes, either way, she was unsupervised during that time, even though the dad and siblings and baby daddy were all there. MOST MOTHERS KNOW A BABY HEAD IS SENSITIVE and will watch that other children don't play with the infants head. BUT THIS MOTHER WAS GIVING A sarcastic SPEECH BELITTLING OBAMA. The baby already have DOWN SYNDROME, but nobody is paying attention to the little one who could be poking his eyes out.

I loved watching the little girl with the baby.  She leaned down and kissed him on the head.  It was so cute and unpretentious!!  I think she loves her little brother and she was so comfortable and gentle with him.  I'm sure that showing love and caring for each other is encouraged in that family.  

It reminds me of some pictures I have of my children engaging in that same type of "horrible" behavior when they were about those ages.

You say her speech was belittling to Obama?  She stated facts.  If you think those facts are belittling to him, then you must face the fact that Obama's experience is really just that sadly unimpressive and his constant flip flops ,(or whatever you choose to call them) do not go unnoticed..  No matter how you say it, with or without sarcasm, it doesn't change the facts.  

Funny part is watching the lib media's attempt at damage control. After Palin's speech, you could  almost smell the sweat!!!

*Edit*  This is getting SOOOOOO funny!!!  The more some of you people add to this posting the funnier, more desperate you sound!!! LOL!!   In fact, you sound like your getting absolutley hysterical!!!! (or scared spitless)  FYI,  she isn't running for President, but as governor, she does have an awesome 80%  approval rating from the people in her state.  How does that stack up against the 16% (or less) approval rating of the Dem-led Congress?   So, if I were you, I wouldn't worry about her family.  She seems to be very capable of managing her time and she does have a very capable husband and a supportive family.  Since she is the governor of Alaska, (which isn't quite like working at Wal-Mart) obviously her family are use to having a 'working' Mom and they seem to be handling things just fine.

*Edit*  I was having fun watching Obama and Hillary digging at each other, so I was kind of sorry when old Hill got the boot.  It is 'kind' of fun watching Hillary try to look like she thinks Obama is the one for the job (after listening to months of  her reasons why he isn't) so I was thinking it was going to be a ho-hum campaign from here on out, but this is GREAT!!  It's FUN again!!

Personally, I'm getting annoyed and offended by this argument. That she can't be a good VP because she's a mother of 5, even if one of them is an infant with down syndrome, is ludicrous. Is a woman supposed to sacrifice her career, her passions, her life to sit at home with the kids, because it's a woman's job to be the caretaker? Is it not possible for her husband to step up to the plate and pick up the slack at home?

Her decision to run on the Republican ticket is not the gender issue people keep making it out to be and it certainly doesn't make her a horrible mother, just because an incredible opportunity has arisen and she's chosen to take it.

Yes, I imagine it's a difficult job raising 5 kids, but I also don't get why Gov. Palin is getting all the flack for not properly raising them. It seems people have forgotten she has a husband who is perfectly capable of handling some of that responsibility as well.

Maybe instead of judging her on stereotypes of what you think a woman should be, you should consider looking at where she stands on the issues and if those issues are in line with your own. We don't judge the men that run for our political offices on whether or not they're good fathers. Maybe we should elect our women on the same standards.

This coming from a woman and a democrat who will be voting for Obama come November. I certainly hope this country elects its next leader on their ability to lead, something I think she seems to have proven having been a mayor and a governor.

I see the liberals are out  tonight like the blood sucking vampires they are. Her daughter was sitting next to her husband Todd, the one who is the father of the "hick family" who works his tail off in blue colllar jobs to help his family. The one who supports his wife in power and isn;t afraid to take a backseat. So their daughter cares about how her brother looks, what is wrong with that. I think she looked adorable holding her littler brother, watching her brother so her mother could give an inspirational seech to Americans. That is a family that helps each other, that right there is the American Dream. Shame on you for attacking that family.

OMG!!  I am so tired of the people who think that everytime something is said against this palin chick it is a sexist comment.  Get a clue!!  There is more to it than that.  Every stinking election the opposing party rips into the other - it is part of the race.  But now that one is a woman,  boo hoo boo hoo.  They cry sexism - just there way of avoiding dealing with the truth.  If one of Obama's girls was picking their nose you reps would have been all fricking over it! The girl could have cause damage to that child's eye.  And while I realize that the mother was a little busy - the other's were not.  And you reps keep poinitng out that she is married and that the father can watch the children while she is busy and go on and on about how it is unfair to question her mothering; but he can't even make sure his kids aren't poking their brother's eye out on national television?????? This woman choose to get married and have 5 kids.  On top of that she chose to do this while being a working mom.  I am a working mom and know the struggle all to well about balancing family and work.  However, my job is a 40 hour job that is only 5 minutes from my house.  Can you imagine the struggle with the weight of the nation on your shoulders, the public eye, long hours, lots and lots and lots of traveling - most outside of the U.S. sometimes in dangerous territories.  I don't get it. I don't get it at all.  How can a parent do this to their children.  Leave behind a small infant w/ down sydrome and a 17 frightened girl expecting her 1st baby And think of the extra stress all of this **** puts on the exp-mother and then to top it off, now the poor thing is getting married too!!  Palin should be happy governing one of the largest states with the lowest population rates.  She would have a lot more time for her fam.
