  1. 3 parts per million is the industrial exposure limit, and at over 4 parts per million you can not smell it any more because it has numbed the nerves in your nose.

    If you smell it you should be getting a gas test done in the area.

    If you smell it and then do not you should be leaving the area quickly and getting help.
