NOC is required from the current employer to start a new company in UAE?

I am planning to start a professional service company (Management consultancy), whether i need to option NOC from the present employer, is it possible to start a new company under 6 months labour ban or after 6 Months period with out NOC.

First thing you need after resigning from your present company is a new sponsor and a trade license.

You will not be allowed to work in the UAE (unless in a FZ) during the six months ban. If you hold a manager's visa you belong to the ban exempted category, but NOC is needed.

After six months no NOC is needed, but a new sponsor.
