Why do you deem it necessary to belittle the everyday American? I don't mean our government, becuase believe it or not there are a select few of us that don't actually agree with it's policies. We want change we can agree that Americas population is being "dumbed down" on wide scale. The culprits of this are obviously...

A: Our government

B: The media

C: Our own comfort zones.

You call "us" ignorant, yet day to day you ignore the fact that we as a people are also being victimized by the reighn that has befallen our country for the last eight years. If you have half a brain you know who and what I am talking about.

Our country was built on the value that a militia, at anytime, for any purpose could overthrow the powers that be. Becuase the powers that be are not doing their job to uphold true freedom.

I think you all very well know what would happen if one or even a thousand of us tried to bear arms and stand against this super power. We would be deemed terrorists. Try understand

I was a sort of overwhelmed by your apologies for America. I am an Indian. I really feel that America could have done better for world peace and democracy in other countries. Instead, American leaders indulged in over throw of legitimate governments and killed leaders who had popular support, all in the name of American national interest. They were reluctant to stand by democracies like India and they did not want to recognise the right of India to have independent policy of its own. A right even to question America. They unabashedly propped up military juntas and dictators and set one nation against the other, if it suited them. A little of bit idealism would have raised their image in the world. But, still it is such a hopeless situation. Americans, as a people are lovable. World cannot ignore Americans. As you said, let there be change. And let the change be for the good of all- for the Americans and for the peace loving people of the world.

You're an idiot.  I misread your question.  Go find your country where everyone believes the same way you do because you can't handle people with a different point of view.  You, actually, would do well in the UK.

Of course but it does say in The Constituition that Americans have the right to dissolve a tyrannincal Gov and replace it with a new one so even if The Gov said the people were terrorists everyone knows they would not be. There are millions not just one thousand Americans. Only a Super Power as long as everyone else does not lend a hand if Americans desire it.   It is not just the current reign but preceding ones which make a person scratch their head. Actually The Automobile everywhere is  the reign for which people would like to fall. Now a DeIndustrial Reveloution to that extent is possible in America. If Americans or anybody were to destroy The Automobile  this would be appreciated. This means not only removal from highways but financing alternative means of transport and planting parks along former highways. Perhaps bulldozing strip malls and creating planting trees for parks there as well. Incorporating hundred year old trees into a house in a fashion similar to that of Dryads. Wait till such fall before making a new house. Will last hundreds of years unlike houses consumed today in fires like California.
