Following a long and tiring process of opening rounds of the Olympic Qualification Tournament, the hot action of NORCECA Women’s Beach Volleyball Continental Cup Finals is scheduled to be kicked off on Thursday in Mexican City Mazatlan.
A newly built competition hall in the centre of Mazatlan has been selected to provide the backdrop for thrilling encounters, while a total of sixteen tandems from eight countries will go on board to vie for a trip to London.
Aspiring duos from Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, hosts Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Canada, Cuba, and Costa Rica will come into competition.
Puerto Rico will be represented by two teams in the competition. Internationally renowned pairing of Yarleen Santiago and Yamileska Yantin will form Team A from Puerto Rico, while

Two teams from El Salvador, Diana Romero-Marcela Ávalos and Kathya Vásquez-María Vargas, will showcase their amazing tactics on the centre court.
Guatemalan pairs of Ingrid López/Lourdes Ramírez and Nadia Galán/Ana Villagrán displayed good action at national level and clawed their way to the Finals of Continental Cup. However, the final round will actually test their nerves.
Kirenia Ballard and Onayamis Sinal will enter competition as Pool A team from Cuba, whereas Cuba-B will be composed of Niriam Sinal and Ion Canet. Costa Rica’s Ingrid Morales/Natalia Alfaro and Katherine Quesada/Eugenia Ramírez will also vie for the Olympic
