  1. You need to keep putting him in the litter box no matter if he needs to go or not, especially right after he poops every single time. He will get the picture after a while, could take a week.

Also, if they go in the same place all the time, its because they smell themselves from before, you have to clean it with something strong like bleach.

Thirdly, they make a spray at the pet store that keeps them away from certain areas or furniture.

About the last question, a cat is mean or aggressive to one of my kids because they terrorize the cat or is mean to the cat. Try petting it more often and not scaring it or making it run. They do defend themselves from anyone or anything.

I have had cats for ten or more years. Three right now but at least a half dozen others.

  2. Litter box golden rule is that you must have one litter box per cat in the household plus one more (3 total for 2 cats). All litter boxes must be maintained daily and remain open (not covered). Stay away from automatic cat litter boxes. Don't change litter type, stick with a clumping, and easy to clean up brand so no odor gets left behind. I know this may be asking a lot, but is it worth the try to fix the problem?

Sounds like you have some social issues and as far as the inappropriate elimination goes it might be just because he doesn't want to share a box or feels threatened.

Speak to your veterinarian about placing Ringo on and anti-anxiety medication to help him out with his social problem with k.c.

    Good luck
