First I want to let you know I'm not anyones multiple account, I'm not trying to get anyone mad, and I'm not talking about anyone specific.

This is CRAZY though. I sit here laughing at some of these questions like HELLO, where not in high school any more! Some of these constant fights going on. For what, Yahoo Answers?!?!? I'm not trying to be rude, but does anyone agree with me. This reminds me of high school! What do you guys think?

  1. I don't see any of the "fights" very often.  When I do, I just skip them.  Things like that happen on every single website.  I'm a member of a military support website and even on that site there is the occasional cat fight.  Its crazy, but you have to learn to take the good with the bad sometimes.

  2. It doesn't bother me because I don't engage in it... I ask what I need to ask and answer what I want to answer.

  3. This kinda is....i mean the joining age is 13, get a life lady and go watch your kids

  4. Glad to know. I used to engage in the fighting online, but I'm done with it. It's very much like high school and really I don't want to keep on with that because I've been out of high school for over 6 years now! It never occurred to me that someone would accuse you of having multiple accounts though, lol. Some people are quite paranoid. Just keep on laughing....it's the best medicine. Agreed.

By the way, FIVE kiddos? WOW! That's a job for Super Mom! It takes a special kind of mom to do that :)

  5. im with you 100% girl!

this is unnecessary drama with people on the internet and we dont even know eachother! this site is supposed to be a a place where we help one eachother and get advice from people! not high school all over again, i mean come on, get real.

  6. o yea I have to wonder what people are thinking when they ask some of these questions

  7. Agreed

  8. It reminds you of high school because the majority of YA users are high school students.  Even in the parenting section because they want to seem like they know more than they do.

  9. I'm IN high school and I think some of these arguments and questions are dumb and ignorant.

  10. Yep...and the spelling and the lack of punctuation and knowing what a sentence is really gripes me sometimes too.   It is also pretty stupid the anger some show over nothing.  Like the conversations between atheists and Christians....so much anger...it is scary.  I don't see that anger in Christians as much as the atheists....but I just stare and wonder...why do you care so much what anyone believes?

The best ones are the ones like....do you think he really likes me?  hahahahaha  Oh my gosh...

I realize they are children.......but it still is funny.

  11. I'm not sure what you're referring to specifically, but I suspect that alot of the people on here ARE in high school.  As with any internet forum, you have to weed through the garbage to find the great answers.

  12. Well, you do have to remember that many people on here aren't even in high school yet, as many of these people are barely 13, so they are still in 7 or 8 grade.

And of course, being on the internet, people can say and do what they want, because they feel protected by the internet, since no one is face to face, there isn't the possibility of a confrontation.  Unlike off line, they would not be as bold, rude, etc if they were in person.

I agree with you though...it is petty.

  13. sure why not... so whats the issue?

  14. I think you have to realize that many of the people on here are junior or senior high school students. Thus the immature, catty questions and answers.
