NRI Student from U.S?

Question

Is it true that NRI students get more priority in Indian colleges...esp in private colleges..? and I also heard that they don't fail nri's. I'm planning on taking comp.sci engg CSE course in vizag Anyone can help me?

Except the fact, that NRIs have different fee structure (which is more than the normal students), I don't think NRI students get any better treatment in colleges.  Getting admission is also little bit easier for NRIs since some colleges don't have entrance exam or the competition is little bit  less.
