  1. Some teams would sure be in a lot of trouble without them! They are the last line of defence as someone else pointed out.


  2. right now i cant find the words to describe what i'm thinking... watch the game and watch what the fullback does, that should explain it...

They coordinate the defence across the field and are the last line of defence.  Usually safe under the high ball kicked towards the try line.  They run the ball back and try to get some of the metres lost when the opposition kicks down field.  Most times they are pretty boys so that they can attract women to the game!

  5. When the oppostition kicks, on the last tackle, its the fullbacks job to retrieve the ball and set up the next set of tackles. If they drop the ball, the other team gets it. If they stuff up the first tackle, the momentum shifts back to the other team. Fairly simple really.
