NVIDIA 8400GS 2 Monitor Output?

I want no if i can run to diffrent screens of this graphics card as they is 1 VGA and 1 DVI output. Also if that is possible could i run the two screens like 1

  1. Yes you can. However, one screen must have a VGA port while the other a DVI. If the card came supplied with a DVI-VGA adapter then you can use 2 vga monitors. You just connect both monitors like normal until windows starts. Once all set, go into the Display properties by right-clicking your desktop > Properties. You then go to the Advanced (or monitor) tab under Windows XP, click on monitor 2 and check "Extend the desktop onto this monitor" if you want one big screen combined.

    Either way, you can play around in the graphic card drivers standard nVidia control panel which has the same options, but with slightly more settings. This can be accessed by right-clicking your desktop and you'd be able to see a link containing nVidia or something rather.
