NY area restaurants w/ club atmosphere?

I am planning a birthday dinner/party on a friday night. I am looking for a restaurant that is really unique, trendy, maybe with a club atmosphere, with live music would be really nice. Not too pricey. My ideas so far have been SEA thai restaurant in Brooklyn, Cavo in astoria Queens... any ideas???
