While designing a handicap toilet room you need to provide a 5'-0" turning radius. Is it okay if the door swings into said turning radius? Or is the case that nothing may at any point inter fer with this radius?

  1. There is an exception to that rule when it pertains to Single Accommodation Toilets.  "Interior dimensions of Single Accommodation Toilet Rooms shall include a clear floor space of at least 60" in diameter or a T-shaped clear space.  No door may encroach into this required cleared space by more than 12""

  2. If the door is swinging into the bathroom, when fully opened it must not impede the 5'0 turning radius. Also, remember that any accessible door must have a minimum of 32" clear space so a 36" door and frame is always used. For additional information, go to the link I've given.
