NYU help please give me advice and your opinion?

i have a 3.7 GPA, 1810 on my SAT ( i am taking it again aiming fr a 2000), have some extra ciruculars but not captain of any, my father attended nyu, 1 ap ( ap economics) what are my chances of getting into NYU?

I'm applying to NYU as well and my older sister just graduated from their college of arts and science (may 2008). So, hopefully not much has changed since her acceptance. Your SAT scores might be in the bottom 50%, but my sister's scores were too- but she had a 4.0 GPA, a lot of extracurriculars, and 10 ap tests. I'd say you need to raise that SAT score definitely, try harder classes, and hope for the best.
