Are England any good at sport still?  Well the number 1 game played in the UK is football.  When did England last win the football world cup?  1960 something?  So to answer your question. No.  It doesn't matter how much cash you throw at some thing if you ain't got it, you ain't got it.  Good luck with the rugby league though.

Being an All Blacks Supporter I would say don't be too upset.  They thrashed the Wallibies and the South Africans in the Tri Nations this year.  As for the Cricket, I was there at Manuka and that was pretty disgraceful.  The Lions in the League though, Australia played at a lower standard than I have seen for years I wouldn't gloat just yet.  But on a lighter note I hope that England send those Wallaby b*stards packing when you meet soon.

no they are no good they surprise a few times in sport but in general they are pretty ordinary in most sports

I'm from great Britain ..and of course are teams are brilliant....or have you got such a short memory as to forget the humiliating defeat we had over the Australian rugby league team last Saturday..........i think you have a selective memory
