I have friends in New Zealand, and would like to have something sent to them as a gift, can you tell me of any websites that I can check on?

supermarkets

toys

bookshops

dvds

sweets/chocolates

reasonably priced gifts

In the UK, we have places like (supermarket) Tesco.com for groceries and other non food stuff, WH smiths for books, HMV for music, play.co.uk and so on.

I don't have a particular pressie in mind, as I want to browse around.

Many Thanks.

  1. why dont you just buy something that is not to heavy adn send it yourself.  or you can check out ebay from NZ not sure of the .thing and they may post to them but you woiuld not know if it was posted.

  2. www.trademe.co.nz

Have a look at that! Alot of NZ'ers spend there time shopping on there. Its all second-hand (some of its new however)

  3. There is also www.fishpond.co.nz for movies, dvds etc

There ia www.magshop.co.nz if you wish to send a magazine subscription (I have used this quite frequently to send magazine subscriptions as a gift)

and someone has already given you the grocery shopping website.

  4. Destiny Gifts and Gadgets  has a range of gifts and gadgets, is this what you are looking for?

    http://www.destinygiftsandgadgets.co.uk

  5. Two of our main Supermarkets have online shopping but also Ferrit is a multi company website with lots of choices.

Bookshops with online include Whitcoulls (which is the same as W.H. Smith) or Paper Plus.

    Happy shopping

  6. Why don't you just do a search on google.co.nz - then you should get mostly the NZ based sites for what you want.

Whitcoulls is the main bookstore chain. Real Groovy Records would be worth having a look at.

Then, like here, there will be a bunch of gift websites.

  7. There is a website called www.ferrit.co.nz.  It seems to cover everything you need.  I haven't used it as yet, but seems very reliable.
