Does anyone know some common New Zealand brands of beer, wine, cider that are vegan-friendly?
I have only drunk spirits since becoming vegan (a while ago now) and will continue to do so until I can confirm which beers etc are "safe".
I'm mostly concerned with cider (*sigh* it's been a while my friend!). The makers of "harvest", "wild cider", and "bulmers" are not replying to my emails!
Also, does anyone know the regulations about labelling wine (red in particular). I often check bottles: some say refined using fish or egg products but others don't mention anything! I avoid these as well as I assume they still use animal products but just don't mention it explicitly.
Any help appreciated!!! Have tried searching the internet myself but all the websites I've found only refer to US/UK brands. Little ol' NZ seems to be forgotten :)
