This is causing a huge problem for Real coach, Jose Mourinho, who has to select a team without three defenders who are mostly in the team’s starting eleven.
Los Blancos are already trailing bitter rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, by eight points. This injury crisis could not have come at a worse time.
Although, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nacho-c27212 is now officially part of the first team, he hasn’t still featured for Real Madrid in La Liga this season. Regardless, the youngster is confident that he can step up to the challenge and fill the boots left by the
injured trio.
"I am training during the whole year with the first team, the coach knows me and I am working hard so when I get the chance to prove myself, I will. I have spent much time with the first team and I have the right motivation”.
The 22-year-old’s natural and preferred position is as central defender, but he said that he has no issues with playing at left-back or any other position the coach wants him to play.
"I play in the centre, but I have also played many times at full-back. I have no problems playing wherever the coach wants me to. I am right-handed, however, I can still play on the left."
The international breaks are always a headache for club coaches as there is always a risk of potential injuries.
