Nadal, del Potro and Fernando Gonzalez will participate in 2010 Thailand Open
The PTT Thailand Open tennis championship of this season will feature Rafael Nadal, the dominating winner of the hard court, grass court as well as the clay court Grand Slam tournaments. The competition will start from 25th of September at Muang Thong Thani and will end on 3 October, 2010.

The 2009 United States Open winner, Del said: “I am excited to play this year’s PTT Thailand Open tournament after my recovery. I really had a great time during my last season’s Bangkok visit. I am hoping to perform even better this time and looking forward to meet up the expectations of my fans”. The tennis ace from Argentina, Del was listed number four in the world by the ATP prior to his wrist surgery earlier this season.
Like Rafa, Fernando Gonzalez, a Chilean tennis player will be participating in the championship for the very first time as well. Talking about his forehands, Gonzalez has without any question, one of the strongest forehands as far as men’s side is concerned, and therefore his contests are definitely going to be a thrilling one.
The Chilean tennis ace is the owner of a total of eleven trophies on the ATP World Tour and has been listed as high as number five by the ATP.
“I have never contested in Bangkok however I have heard some exciting stuff regarding the location as well as the championship itself, therefore I’m really getting anxious to perform at the PTT Thailand Open this season during the month of September,” Gonzalez said.
