  1. Yeah, his serve has never been all that.  Today his forehand was off. His lobs are iffy, too. The running forehand is usually excellent, but today he made a lot of errors on that side.

I have to check the stats.

  2. Nah, it's Roger on grass courts.

  3. have you ever seen Nadal's backhand?

He is really right handed, so his backhand is like another forehand. Some people bellieve his weakness (if you wish to call it that) is his forehand.

  4. Backhand, to some extent. But his weakest point is the US hard court. He has performed very poorly in the US Open so far.

  5. its not his backhand.. nadal is  right handed.. but plays tennis with his left... so his backhand is like a forehand also like dr.d has said...

his weakness? i think, second serve in hard courts...

  6. His weakness, if he even has any, I would say is the serve, while he has improved on it. He is quite remarkable from both sides of the racquet, has great movement, stays in the points, creates points/winners, great defense, rusn down bunches of balls. His serve though at times, despite his crafty hook, movement on the ball, I think could be a bit stronger for their level of play and get some more free points from it. Otherwise, I dont see much weaknesses, for he is the most dominate, longest held,  #2 player of all time, while inching closer to actually becoming a possible number one.

  7. just from memory I'd say it has to be his serve which is just not up to his level of tennis. if his serve were better he'd win most of his matches sooner and his body wouldn't be so battered.

  8. his strength on clay is his weakness on other courts... the top spin forehand. He needs to flatten out shots on occasions.

  9. His weak point is his serve on hard courts. His strength that he has on his forehand on clay is also his weakness in hard courts. In grass, it's like if you were playing in clay because of the ball bounces is slow, and it also feels like a hard court because the speed of the ball is fast. Nadal is closer on winning Wimbledon. Maybe it will be this year.

  10. no, hes got a great backhand. its obviously (after watching that match) that he stands far to far behind the baseline and can be drop shotted easily. his serve isnt fantastic either.

  11. His only weakness really is his serve, especially on hard courts, and in particular his 2nd serve.
