Nadal in a full swing, what’s next for him?

The current top seed Rafael Nadal is enjoying his best time after grabbing the 2010 grand slam title. This year brought a glory of glooms for the Spanish man as his rank has been improved and with a prestigious grand slam title in his pocket and the World Champion is still eager for more.

The coming US open tournament is a new challenge for the king of clay because all eyes are focusing on the current World Champion. It is not going to be an easy challenge as the former champion Roger Federer is well ready to win what he has lost .To the world this challenge is going to be worth watching as this summer in New York is getting even steamier with the hot news about the tournament. Now the American stage is well set and eyes are wide open to watch the live tennis battle between the world’s best players.

Nadal is no doubt capable of grabbing major grand slams but the question arises if he is capable of overhauling the 16 grand slam titles winner and former number 1 Roger Federer? The views about the new champion by the oldies can sound encouraging to the Spanish man as the former great Britain Davis cup tennis player and, commentator John Barret expressed his views about Rafael Nadal.

Considering Nadal’s victory in Wimbledon on Sunday has moved him to the 8th title of his diabolic career shows the fact that Federer’s record is under threat .Barret who is considered to be as the BBC’s voice of tennis added his remarks with a great hope saying “Nadal is young, he looked dedicatedly great on Sunday and has got all the chances to beat the Federer’s prominent record. On the other hand the former World Tennis Champion Roger Federer can meet his vicious rival, face to face in New York again if he shows his perfectionist class and experience to counter his attack in a winning spirit. Federer who is still considered to be as one of the world’s greatest tennis players of all times is much eager to get his game back and it will not be easy for the current World Number 1 to conquer as Federer is still one of the toughest opponent one could ever have.

Nadal has already said that he would like to win all the four grand slams including the US open, adding to that US open is still the toughest and most difficult for him too .He considers the US open title as a goal for the rest of his career. Yet the hopes are high and Rafael is keen to continue his victorious form. Nadal is determined that he will prepare well for the US open and the goal of getting into the final and winning the title is not far away this time.

For the immediate future he has to keep himself fit and give his problematic knees some rest as it is said that tomorrow’s battles are won in today’s practice .Well the time will tell who is going to be the master of tennis and for Nadal his game depends upon his fitness as long as he stays fit and avoid knee problems as his game is based on movements and power and without it he’s dead. He will wreck the tennis court if he stays the way he is, fit and aggressive.

The World Number 1 has already proven himself as one of the best contenders for the US open in august this year, yet he has to win it as the previous US open’s dark clouds are not letting him to forgive his previous defeat.

All we can do is to sit and watch and cheer for the champion for another title.
